This sweet face.  Gah.  He is so precious, and I’ve had the honor of capturing him since he was a newborn.  While his mom and dad were waking his big brother up from his unusual car nap, we snapped this gorgeous series of his swoon-worthy expressions.  I love that we can capture such striking images in such a short period of time. I mean, it was so easy.  “Here A, stand here…what do you see?  Do you see my purple eyeball??!”  “Yeah!!”—as I play peek-a-boo behind the lens. Best. job. ever!

This family of four is such a joy to be around.  They dote on their boys so much.  Is evident they are fiercely loved.  And while big brother was still waking up, we capture little brother in the magical glow of the setting sun.Sometimes brothers love each other well, and sometimes they don’t want anything to do with each other at a photoshoot.  Big brother was still waking up here, but I love this series and how little brother kept looking up at big bro admiringly. Also, don’t they look like little models?  Don’t you wanna know who they are wearing? ????Sometimes I wish I could get some to capture how silly and wild I can get behind the camera, trying to capture these happy images.  Some kids find me amusing, while others aren’t quite there yet.  I guess I need to step up my game.

I’m all about doing session right before sunset, which works well in the fall and winter, but can be a challenge in the spring and summer as the sunsets later and later and puts a kink in the normal evening routine.  But y’all, the magic glow of the golden hour before sunset is like no other.  And the added element of the water…creates an equally timeless and magical piece of art.

That model life.  E finally perked up and recovered from his car nap, and was eager to share his pure joy with me. I can’t even pick a favorite here.Check out these sweet candid moments caught between mom and dad and their boys.  Mom and A enjoyed watching the sunset at the end of their session.  And I loved that I got to capture those evening snuggles.
